Dhinesh joined the trade at 22 years of age, bartending for Fullerton Hotel at noteworthy events such as the Istana Cocktail & Dinner. Thereafter, at Rendezvous Hotel’s Library Lounge Bar, he grew proficient in the foundations to mixology with completion of formal bartender training, and rose to position of head bartender within a year. Dhinesh continued to flourish in faculty and flair at bespoke bar Entrance, where he held the position of head mixologist as his focus shifted from the perfection of classic to craft cocktails. With the finesse of learned proficiency and the verve of an experimental streak, Dhinesh showcases a brilliantly progressive style of bartending that has served to charm guests and secure successes.

Competitions have been an opportunity for Dhinesh to harness and refine his expertise and strengths, as well as to further colour his art with global inspirations. His achievements span placing second in the 2022 World Moutai Competition and emerging at second place in the 2023 National Bartender Competition. In December 2023, he also represented Singapore in the Cointreau Margarita Challenge and placed among the Top 10 locally.
